Invoice vs work order

Use both on most paid calls

The invoice carries the totals. The work order carries authorization. Print both when the customer pays on site.

  1. Work order (SKU-02). Customer’s complaint, work performed, parts, labor hours, and signature / authorization. Do this before or while you invoice.
  2. HVAC invoice. Parts × unit, labor, tax rate you type, and grand total. Excel does the math; PDF is the blank clipboard print.
  3. Cooling PM (SKU-01). When the visit is a seasonal tune-up, not only a no-cool diagnosis.
  4. Diagnostic log (SKU-05). Pressures, temps, amps, voltage as found — included in the $24 kit.
  5. Refrigerant log (SKU-04). Only if you add or recover. One sheet per cylinder — also in the $24 kit.
